A beautifully sculptural large pewter vase by French artist duo Alice and Eugène Chanal.
Dating to the 1920’s and of the art deco design movement, the vase features an embossed floral repeat, hammered texture panels and ball feet. The fluted nature of the piece is beautifully feminine, contrasted by the heavy dark patina of the pewter finish.
Makers mark to the base ‘A.E Chanal Deposé’.
