Rare French faience oyster plates by J. Vieillard & Cie Bordeaux.
Dating to the 1800’s, the plates feature an incredibly rare seaweed design with shell shaped oyster wells. They are beautifully hand finished with intricate detailing to each well.
At almost 200 years old, the plates are both in excellent condition, they are works of art in themselves and would look perfect upon a wall or table. The plates hold nine oysters each.
Both plates have a makers mark and stamp to their base.
