Antique campaign chair, dating to the early 20th century.

This rare piece is beautifully sculptural in it’s shape and design. It has a warm patina to the wood and comes with its original woven cane seat. A charming and completely authentic piece, the chair folds down for portability.

The chair and seat is in fantastic condition and only has minor wear, expected with age.

This chair could be styled beautifully in a hallway or a bedroom.

Historically, campaign chairs were designed to be lightweight and portable, making them ideal for use in the field and popular in the heyday of the British Empire.

Unfolded: 89cm tall, 49cm wide. Seat height is 40cm, and at the base, the depth is 69cm between the front and rear legs.

Folded: 93cm tall, 49cm wide, 15cm deep.
